When I finally turn my attention to my reflection I am shocked by all the changes. Practically everything about me has changed and I find it hard to focus on any one thing. Eventually, the changes to my head are what manage to drag my attention to them.
My face has narrowed and grown longer, it now looks more like a dragon's head. Although, there are still a few small hints that give it a mischievous cat-like look to it. The horn on my forehead has grown longer and there is now a smaller one in front of it.
The two horns are in line with the tip of my nose and the longer horn now has a slight backwards curve. The longer horn looks incredibly sharp and the two horns help to give me a dangerous look. All in all, my head looks a lot more stream-lined than it did before, but I'm not sure if I like it.
Not that my opinion really matters since there is nothing I can really do about it. After all, I wanted to move in the direction of becoming a dragon and this would indicate that it is working. If anything, the rest of the changes to my body are even more dragon-like.
My body is bigger than it was and is also leaner than it was. It is no longer covered by fur, I am now covered by golden scales with silver highlights. The scales are tiny and fitted together so that there are no gaps that I can see. However, their small size keeps them flexible and I don't have any issues when I try to move.
Even my tail has grown longer and is covered by scales, although it doesn't look as impressive. It looks more like a normal lizard's tail rather than a dragon's tail. However, it does fit in well with the overall look, unlike my wings.
My wings are still feathered, but now they are covered in bright white feathers. Not only do they look like an angel's wings, but there are also four of them. That doesn't really bother me though, when I was disguised as a six-wing I got sort of used to it.
I am guessing that the addition of two more wings is a result of gaining Advanced Flight. Either that, or I gained Advanced Flight because I grew another pair of wings. Whichever it is, I am happy having four wings, I just don't like the fact that they are white.
Sadly, I think that if they were black it would look even worse, so I guess I am stuck with them. My size still isn't anywhere near that of a dragon, at best I look like a weird drake. However, I am fine with that, I still have three more evolution stages to go.
Although, I am definitely going to have to avoid getting any more evolution points from angels. The wings are bad enough, I don't want to see what other things I might get from them. If possible, I want to only get evolution points from lightning and things with dragon blood.
That is going to make it much harder to get the points I need to evolve again. However, I believe that it will be worth the effort even if it does take a lot longer. For now, I should check and see if anything else besides my appearance has changed.

'My race changed again?! Crap! While Celestial Lightning Beast sounds cool, it also sounds a lot like an angel! I absolutely cannot absorb any more angel cores!'
Not much else seems to have changed, but my race changing is enough to scare me. If I am not careful, I could end up stuck on an evolutionary path that I really don't want. I am going to have to be very careful about what I absorb from now on.
That is kind of depressing since absorb is one of the main ways that I have been getting stronger. I am just going to have to find other ways to get stronger, it is not worth the risk. Then again, I already sent all the cores to Seronia so it doesn't really matter.
All of Holos' angels should already be dead and it isn't like I am going to find another domain to raid. The only angels I have a chance of running into should be those from the southern pantheon. I am not going to be killing their angels, so I won't have any cores to absorb.
That is, as long as Mythica doesn't figure out what I did and send her angels after me. Even then, I don't plan to absorb their cores, I will just gift them to Seronia. I should probably also avoid absorbing demon cores, I don't want to chance them conflicting.
That is going to seriously limit what I can absorb and slow me down even more. I should still be fine absorbing spells, it is just rare to find a spell strong enough. The only ones I have found that gave me evolution points were my own spells.
Although, I am guessing that if I absorbed a spell from a demon lord I would get some points. I wonder if those would count as magic, or demonic evolution points. I will probably find out at some point, no need to worry about it until it happens.
For now, I focus on moving my body and getting used to the newest changes. I can't wait to get outside and try out my new wings, but first I need to be able to walk. Besides, if I let anyone see me fall on my face I will never hear the end of it.
