Chapter 33 - Shadows in the Night
After returning from their epic adventure, the group returned to the mansion with the atmosphere full of euphoria and satisfaction. Juan, seeing them enter, received them with a warm smile.
"They did a great job," he said proudly.
Elizabeth and Charlotte exchanged knowing glances. Lightning pretended to inflate his chest as if he had done all the work, causing laughter in everyone. The tension of the fight was behind and the group allowed themselves to enjoy the victory.
What Juan didn't mention was that strange voice he had heard... "I'll teach you what it means to govern." However, he decided to let it go. Maybe it was just his imagination. He was convinced that there was no reason to alarm others.

Night at the Mansion - Scarlett's Shadow
While everyone was sleeping, a dim light shone from Scarlett's laboratory. She looked exhausted, with messy hair and dark circles marked under her eyes. Scrolls, books and potions jars were scattered around the table. His hands trembled, holding an old map of the Bioniverse.
"Where are you...?" he murmured, his eyes anxiously running through the lines of the parchment.
Hidden in the shadows, Valterion watched her from a corner of the corridor. His cold and penetrating gaze did not turn away from her. Something in his attitude worried him.
"What are you looking for so desperately?" Valterion thought.
Scarlett, frustrated, slammed up the map and put her hands to her head. Valterion decided to leave without being seen, but his thoughts tormented him. There was something in Scarlett's attitude that didn't quite fit.

Mystery Scene - Something Is Coming
Meanwhile, away from the mansion, the scene changed drastically.
A planet, once full of life, was now plunged into total destruction. There were no traces of battle, no bodies, no signs of survivors... only smoking ruins and a chilling silence.
In the distance, a silhouette faded into the fog, leaving behind a trail of darkness.
Something or someone was destroying worlds... and it was getting closer and closer.

The Intimate Moment - Elizabet and Charlotte
That night, while everyone was sleeping, Juan went to Elizabeth and Charlotte's room. I didn't have a clear reason, I just wanted to talk to them.
He knocked gently on the door.
"Can I come in?"
The two, already in their pajamas, invited him to come in. The room was lit by a dim warm light.
"Are you okay?" Elizabeth asked with a tender smile.
"Yes... it's just that..." Juan paused, looking for the right words. I wanted to thank you... for always being by my side. Without you, I don't know what would have happened to me.
Charlotte and Elizabeth looked at each other, both feeling the weight of their feelings.
"You don't have to thank anything..." Charlotte said, getting a little closer. We... love you, Juan. There's nothing we wouldn't do for you.
Elizabeth nodded, taking Juan's hand.
"That's true... What I feel for you... I've never felt something like that.
Juan felt a warmth run through his chest. He smiled sincerely, moved by the words of both.
"I love them too... both of them."
The silence was interrupted by a passionate kiss. First it was Elizabeth, then Charlotte, and finally the three of them were hugged, enjoying the moment, feeling that everything was calm... at least for now.

Valterion's Journey - Something Dark is Approaching
Meanwhile, Valterion had not gone back to sleep. The conversation he heard between Scarlett and that mysterious search kept haunting his mind.
"This is not good..." he murmured.
Without telling anyone, Valterion went to the portal that the great dwarf master had left for Juan. The gentleman stopped in front of the bright vortex, hesitating for a moment. But then he remembered Waru's words.
"Protect him... don't let his heart cloud or the pain consume it..."
"I hope you're not taking me to my own death..." he said softly.
Valterion activated the portal... and disappeared.
