  "Owww! You're going to break my arm S-stop!"

  "Humph."

  "Hu... Hu... W-what got you so worked up?" Bryan rolled his body a few times then sat on his knees while looking at Linnet as he massaged his arm, this simple sparring between him and his dies has been so intense from the moment it began but his first dy was taking it so seriously and being so aggressive, as if she wanted to give him the beating of his life... A grappling session where he received punches and kicks yet the referee, "Celest", didn't say anything at all and the audience, his dies and neighbors, didn't voice a single compint!

  *Snort*

  Linnet scoffed at him and was about to walk away after fixing her attire but Bryan moved and was behind her once she turned and hugged her from the back while asking : "Tell me Linnet... Why are you mad at the father of your children?"

  She was about to struggle to free herself from his gentle hug but these soft words made her feel weak and helpless, "Y-you bastard," Linnet twisted her body to hide the expression on her face from her sisters by using the cover of his wide chest and thick arms, "Keeping this secret from us... It must've been so hard on you carrying this burden all alone!" After saying that she cried in muffled tears but Celest and the rest joined them in that hug to show their support and unity.

  "Next time you keep us in the dark, you're dead... Do you hear me daddy?" Michelle gred at him because she's so angry after hearing the news from Anna.

  The Zombies which they thought are nothing but silly obstacle which is going to take a bit of time to get rid off for good and clean their pnet from their nauseating and disgusting presence, suddenly turns out they're going to be a big problem which is going to take all their attention in the future or they're going to be the side being pushed to the edge of the abyss in the end.

  Bryan nodded because he's never pnning to keep anything else a secret from his dies other than the issue of the outbreak.

  "I'm coming with you." Nikki said and immediately he saw Ayna, Sky, and Isabelle nodding their heads to show that they're going to join too.

  Bryan shook his head before saying : "I don't pn to help them at all, I'm just going to be there to give my advice and make sure the team of dog-handlers we send to help point the soldiers towards the infested areas and gathering locations plus identifying the individuals within the groups of survivors who are already sick and trying to hide their symptoms because they're afraid they might be separated or put down in some dark alley by the soldiers." Afterwards he added : "You girls need to keep pushing your limits in the simution chambers, honestly we're lucky that the AI operating the systems does have it's own surveilnce satellite and backup energy sources in the many branches so it's still gathering information from all-over the world... Now you don't need to go fight the Zombies to gain the experience of what do you need to handle them in different environments and situations."

  Linnet was still sobbing in his embrace and he tightened his arms around her because he knows that she now knows that her other self was the one who gave him that burden and he's been carrying it in silence while showing them a wide smile on his face and never compined once.

  "Rebecca's people prepared the drones which are going to be your eyes in the sky while the team manning the mini fighter jets is going to be providing support whenever it's needed." Sofia said while patting Linnet on the back to calm her.

  "The medical staff is ready to take care of the sick within the survivors, just have them isoted from the rest as quickly as possible then we'll take care of all of them once they're quarantined." Lisa added while running her fingers in Linnet's silky hair.

  "The infrastructure of the city was completely upgraded thanks to Governor Evan's efforts so... Having these survivors back on their feet and back to living as close to normal as possible is going to be very easy." Sierra said and both Evelyn and Rita nodded because they've managed to gather teams of the best technicians and engineers who could resolve all the issues as quickly as possible thanks to the abundant supplies, tools, and machinery which they accumuted before the outbreak.

  Bryan smiled because his dies are so dependable, now he doesn't need to think about everything and can just ask them to help then everything would be taken care of way faster than when he's doing everything on his own.

  Next day Bryan kissed his exhausted dies inside the grassnd before heading out, he was so happy that he somehow convinced them to go wild and have themselves one of their good old competitions which sted for two days!

  His followers were already waiting for him outside his mansion and ready with one of the massive dogs ying comfortably inside the storage space of each one of the trucks parked behind them, next to the furry and majestic beasts is another dog which is tiny and small but that breed does have these pair of big and wide intelligent eyes which made them look unlike any other animal from this species.

  Once Bryan appeared they straightened their pose just like the ones responsible for feeding and taking care of their needs and even growled softly to warn their big friends to behave in front of the big boss because it'd be very embarrassing to their kind human friends.

  Bryan nodded and smiled after seeing his followers being so prepared and went towards these sweet yet deadly creatures and gave them treats which excited them so much that it put an end to their serious behavior, even the small chihuahuas which maintained their original size and developed their intelligence were so excited that they started to lick and nudge his generous hand with their heads when he offered them their share.

  The dog breeds which were already huge before experiencing their physical upgrades became gigantic in size and just a single bark from them would be so loud and deafening, that's why their trainers immediately covered their ears once they saw their boss taking out the really good stuff!

  *Woof* *Howl*

  Indeed the sound spread all the way from the top of the mountain and made its way to the armory, airport, the nearby community, and the stretch of farmnds towards the west then beyond to the guards manning the walls.

  "They're going to purge the city of Zombies for real."

  "About time the leaders gave this order."

  "Do you think we're going to be allowed to travel outside this safe zone in the future?"

  "I think so, these civilians wouldn't be able to protect themselves otherwise."

  "I can't wait for my first mission outside these walls... It's getting a bit stifling to keep doing the same guard duties over and over."

  "Better than fighting the Zombies... I was almost swarmed by them the st time I went out and Mr. Bryan saved me once my rifle jammed and my sidearm went out of pullets."

  "You're just an idiot, panicking and shooting at their arms and legs like a fool instead of aiming for the head."

  "Such a rookie mistake!"

  While these conversations were happening on the walls and simir conversations were happening everywhere, Bryan got inside one of the trucks and the long convoy made its way towards the southern-gate.

  Once he heard the buzzing noise of the drones Bryan looked up and gestured a greeting towards the sky.

  The highway had a long line of military trucks loaded with troops, supplies, and arms.

  'Thankfully these guys didn't bring any tanks or my poor highway would've been ruined.' Bryan thought while signaling for his driver to go ahead because they're not supposed to follow this military convoy.

  "Mr. Bryan."

  "Colonel Octavia, good morning."

  "Morning," The military woman looked at him before asking : "Are you sure you guys are going to be okay travelling this... Light?"

  Bryan nodded and smiled : "Yeah, we don't pn for this to take too long so we're expected to be back to get quarantined tomorrow at night or the day after at the test."

  Octavia barely held herself back from rolling her eyes and nodded before gesturing to the armed vehicle ahead while saying : "General Wilder is in there if you want to say anything to him."

  Bryan shook his head, "No need," Then he jumped back in the truck, "We're good to go whenever you're ready."

  Octavia raised her walkie-talkie and said : "General. We're locked and loaded."

  "Move out." Arlo answered while looking from his window towards Bryan who nodded to greet him.

  "Permission to open the gates." Colonel Octavia requested.

  From the radio everyone in the safe zone heard Tiana's sweet voice saying : "Open the southern-gate, good luck everyone."

  While the gears creaked and loudly started to turn for the massive steel gate to open, everyone heard the sharp whizzing voice of automated mini fighter-jets armed with nothing but machine-guns as they flew towards the city ahead of them with half the drones which were escorting them.

  According to pn, Rebecca's people are going to be split in two teams.

  One of them is escorting the convoy and sweeping the surrounding terrain to prevent any Zombies from sneaking up on them at any time during their mission.

  The other team would be consisting of extermination and targeting teams, the targeting team would be using the drones to locate the Zombies while the extermination teams which are controlling the mini fighter-jets would be taking care of decreasing the number of Zombies as much as possible before the convoy arrives in the city.

  Sweeping the interior of buildings and cleaning the tight spaces would be the task of the soldiers who get to receive the help of the dogs which General Morgan specifically requested some of them to be given to his armory so they could rely on their service.
