Chapter 25: “Roads.” – Part 6.

Slightly shaking her head so that her pstic clips ccked in the quiet forest, Sylvie patted Casey’s leg. “We are almost there, two mi best. Just be ready to … well … go underground.”

As promised about two mio the sed, Sylvie had hit a small button on her bike and a small opening opened into the earth like a gaping mouth. “No one es here and the trail is marked for bicycles or pedestrians. Lots of roads without a destination if you don’t pay attention.” Sylvie stopped at the bottom of the roughly ten-by-ten ptform and shut off the engine. “Stay clear of moving objects.” Sylvie ughed and pressed the button again to make the entrance close. Stepping off the motorcycle, Sylvie rolled her eyes, “I ’t believe I am walking in here looking like a stripper.” She poio her crotchless jeans. “Just one more little test and we will be nid safe.” She turo face Casey and saw her twin sun orbs illuminating the area between them. “Be gd you are a city girl, because yeous eyes will never allow you to sneak up on anyone, missy.” Sylvie skipped her way around Casey. “e o’s get inside.”

Taking Casey’s hand, Sylvie pulled her progeny behind her and walked to a bck stone wall with a heavy steel door with a little blinking red dot. “Kody did this. I think they are the only oher than myself who know - mainly because they desighe system…” Sylvie held up one finger and sliced open a hole then pressed the button. A tiny blood test strip appeared from the base of the light and Sylvie pressed her bloody fio it. When the light clicked green, the door slid to the right and allowed them entry.

“Wele back, Miss Mikoda. Wele to the Underground, Miss Rivers.” a soft robotic voice echoed through hidden speakers.

“Underground?” Casey smiled and walked beside Sylvie. “Thank you for the pliment about my lovely eyes, I am fond of them.” She ed her arm through Sylvie’s as they walked through the huge underground home. “I think it is cute you named your home, Underground and then your bar After Dark. Very ghoulishly vampiric, my lovely gummy-ghoul.”

Squinting her eyes and shaking her head, Sylvie stopped walking and ughed. “Gummy-ghoul? That was the worst o. I am irely sure I like that reference.” She patted Casey’s hand and started to describe the yout of the home. “It’s not that much different than the house by the bar. You just were in the garage.”

“Yes, thank you.” Casey snickered and poio Sylvie’s open pants. “I am just seeing how long it takes you to realize that I still smell you…and how long you think you hold me off.”

Uerred, Sylvie kept walking. “The basic yout is an ‘L’ shape with a ‘T’ meeting it and the kit in an oval. Sensing that Casey was getting a little too excited, Sylvie smiled and fidently boasted, “I hold you off as long as it takes, my copper-kitty.” With the words still lingering in the air, Sylvie raised her eyebrows and smiled. “I bet you feel much less horny, you sexy bee.”

Feeling her enthusiastic desire get repced by the idea she had to be a prim and proper young dy sent ripples of iy that made her feel as though her body had a fever, plete with chills and sweating. “So…not …” Casey stopped herself as the and cmped down on her mind. “Ma’am. I am uo say exactly what I truly want to say, so I will leave this portion of the versation with…Thank you for your assistance.” She paused and curtsied, “Would you kindly show me the rest of your delightful Underground, Ma’am?”

“Spoken like a lovely young dy. Thank you for such a proper response, apparently your mother did teach you something.” Sylvie whistled for a few seds while the two reached the main jun of the house. “I wele you to our new home. I think we will stay here, after everything is finished.” She looked around her plush home. “I have missed being on the nd, Casey.”

Taking a few moments to absorb the yout and stru, Casey noted a few things that didn’t quite fit for either a Native Ameri aesthetic or anything necessary for a pair of vampires. Specifically the modern kit with everything seemingly tied into the main trol panel on the circur wall. “Ma’am?” Casey meekly addressed Sylvie, sending more srodug passion screaming through her veins. “If the dy allows, may I ask a question?” Casey felt her blood-mixed sweat break free from her hair and form on her forehead.

-Rivers, admit it you love this…It is like she is breathing and kissing my mind from the inside. God…it’s like her lips are IN your blood, Rivers.-

Knowing that she was forced to be proper, and the feeling of being overwhelmed pounded her body within that and, Casey pced her hand on the wall and informed her vampire mistress of her current situation. “Taini. I am having a bit of a problem standing. I would be grateful if you allowed me to take a seat i until I no longer feel faint.”

“Is that so?” Sylvie snickered and knew beyond a doubt that when this little role-py was over, Casey was going to be as rude as humanly possible. Takiime with the fun, Sylvie waved her hand. “Please, by all means, Miss Rivers, sit down before you hurt the wall or floor.” She walked to the refrigerator and pulled out a rge bottle of blood and popped the flip-top otle before she pulled a couple of brandy shat hung above the wine rack. “This should help quite a bit, Miss Rivers.” Sylvie set the gss dooured the cool and deep maroon esseo the gss. “Feel free to sip all you’d like…” Sylvie sat down with Casey, “...please, ask your questions. Such a polite young dy deserves that much.” She bit her lip to stop from ughing.

“My hostess is indeed generous, thank you, ma’am.” Casey waited until Sylvie waved her hand again, then took a few dainty sips of her refreshing psma. With the burning ihroat temporarily staunched, Casey used the break in the dull pain to ask her questions. “Taini, My first inquiry is to this room. Why do we have a kit in a secret, underground home? her of us eat human food.” She paused and then poio the soft pink light that seemed to outline everything. “Why do we have this light, ma’am? We see perfectly fine in the dark.” Since she was free to ask questions, Casey added a couple more. “The walls look to be made of wood, why have them underground? Then there is tan nylon carpeting? My dy Miakoda, these things seem rather unnecessary for an elder vampire living underground.”
