Chapter 28: The Devil's Game (2)
Su Jingya was stunned, and finally had to get off the car obediently, following Huangfu Yu's energetic pace. She looked at the hundreds of special soldiers standing in unison on the training ground with a look of terror. As Huangfu Yu walked through the large iron gate, they all saluted him in unison.
She was curious about what other identity Huangfu Yu had that she didn't know about. After all, special forces weren't something ordinary people could easily control.
The official who had been waiting at the door saw Huangfu and gave a military salute, shouting loudly: "Your Excellency!"
"Is everything ready?" Huangfu Yulang asked coldly.
"Everything is ready according to your orders!" the officer said.
"Great!"
Huangfu's face didn't show much expression, and he snapped his fingers towards the people behind him. Everyone immediately stopped in their tracks.
Jinmu Shuihuo sent off Huangfu Yu's departure, and they all said in unison: "Third Brother, be careful!"
Huangfu Yu did not respond with a single word, and led Su Jingya into the depths of the primeval forest.
As soon as they entered the forest, a damp and chilly breath hit them in the face. Su Jingya shrank her neck and couldn't help but shiver. She carefully followed behind Huangfu Yu, afraid that if she wasn't careful, she would get lost.
The dense and primitive forest, with mist swirling around, Su Jingya keenly sensed that the danger level of this forest was extremely high. If one were to get lost here, they would undoubtedly perish.
Huang Pu walked up to a jeep hidden in the woods with green branches, opened the driver's door stylishly and got in without even looking at Su Jingya: "Get in!"
"Oh!" Despite being scared and at a loss, Su Jingya still obediently sat in the passenger seat, staring with her big, bright eyes, vigilantly watching the surroundings.
Huang Pu glanced at her, seeing her cautious appearance, and naturally understood the little thoughts in her mind. It seemed that she was not as foolish as he had imagined, and surprisingly knew how to remember the way.
The jeep bumped along the uneven mountain road for half an hour before finally stopping in the deepest part of the dense forest.
Huang Pu's eyes, sharp as a hawk's, stared at the misty forest, leaning lazily against the headrest, his fingers lightly tapping on the steering wheel, as if lost in thought.
"Get off!" After a long time, Huangfu Yudan's indifferent voice sounded in the carriage.
The next moment, he got off first. Su Jingya saw it and hurried after him.
However, as soon as they got out of the jeep, a rustling sound came from the nearby bushes. Su Jingya was startled and quickly turned around: A special forces soldier covered in vines suddenly crawled out of the grass, just like those lurking in TV shows, his entire body was armed with colors that blended into nature.
"Your Highness!" He ran to Huangfu's side and shouted loudly.
"Hmm!" Huangfu grunted, "Pass down the order, prepare to begin!"
The special forces received the order and immediately hid back in their original position, Su Jingya couldn't find any trace of them at all, and was shocked to the point where her jaw almost dropped to the ground.
Isn't this hiding too well?
At the same time, she realized a very serious problem: all around her, there were unknown numbers of special forces hiding.
In less than a minute, five prison vans drove up from the mountain road in the distance.
The prison van had just stopped ten meters away from them, thirty agile special soldiers quickly jumped out of the car, opened the cage, and dragged down the prisoners who were locked in iron chains with their hands and feet, and lined up in three rows.
Su Jingya saw that some prisoners wanted to break free and escape, special soldiers caught them back, raised their guns and ruthlessly smashed their heads, two or three times the prisoners' heads were bleeding.
Nature, having been taught a lesson, they also became obedient.
A man dressed differently from the special troops walked quickly to Huangfu's side and whispered, "Young Master, these are sixty-eight death row prisoners transferred from a nearby province, awaiting your disposition!"
Huang Pu leaned against the car head, lit a cigarette with familiarity, and stared at the group of death row inmates who were trembling with fear, slowly and elegantly inhaling.
His smoking gesture was fascinating and handsome, paired with his domineering camouflage uniform, in the misty forest, his cold figure was like a watercolor painting of a hellish devil.
Beautifully stunning to the point of being breathtaking, heart-pounding, and breathless, yet naturally dark enough to make one's scalp tingle. What made Su Jingya's hair stand on end was: his other hand, which had somehow acquired a sniper rifle...
