Trying to let go

The doctor is infatuated, the aloof male god next door tries to put down

Darkness is infinitely long and cold.

Shang Shang was lashed by his resolute words, almost leaving him with no whole body, tears streaming out of his eyes, biting his lips tightly and not daring to cry out loud.

His shoulders however couldn't help but twitch uncontrollably for a moment.

Above, the ice layer at the bottom of the yearning eyes cracked.

His breathing grew heavier for a few moments, but quickly returned to normal. Something suddenly collapsed, and the next second, he flipped over, lit a lighter, and ignited a faint light that illuminated his slightly lowered eyelids and clear face.

In an instant, all that was left in the darkness was a faint orange glow.

In the dimly lit room, the smell of tobacco wafted through the air, and all that could be seen was his vague outline sitting on the floor with one leg slightly bent.

The surroundings became increasingly quiet, and a sense of despair grew within Shang's body, as if his heart was wrapped in a layer of ice. He lay there quietly for half a day before finally adjusting his breathing.

There was still a thick layer of sobbing in her voice, as if she had finally made up her mind. "Little uncle, I'm really sorry for the huge trouble my liking you has caused you. After today, I'll try to let go of you."

Saying so, he stood up and left.

So many years of liking, deeply ingrained, but letting go is more difficult than continuing to like.

It's all over now, he already has another woman, occasionally she also wants to keep a little pride, because the one she liked all along was too humble.

Stretched out his hand and grasped the door handle with difficulty.

There was no persuasion behind him, but rather a cold warning, "Fu Shangshang, remember what you just said, otherwise I have too many ways to send you out of the Yan family completely."

The merchant's footsteps paused for a second under his feet, and then the door opened and closed, and she quickly crossed over.

The door closed, and it finally quieted down.

Nian Mu Yao puffed on his cigarette, got up, stretched out his hand to press the switch on the wall, and bright light instantly drove away the darkness, also illuminating the faint self-ridicule hidden in his eyes.

Outside the door, Shang Shang rushed straight to his own room.

Tears welled up in her eyes, she ran all the way to the bathroom, turned on the shower, and finally felt relieved to cry out loud.

It's as if I want to cry out all the grievances at once, but the bitterness in my heart doesn't decrease. So many years of deep-seated fondness, how can it be washed away with tears?

From the moment she involuntarily fell in love with Yan Mu Le, this play was doomed to end in tragedy.

But for now, the pain has just begun.

It's probably impossible for her to love another man like this in this life, but now the result is already in front of her eyes. He loathes her existence, let alone accepting her wholehearted affection.

It's time to let go, and it's also a relief for myself...

  ————

Finally dawn broke, and the desperation in the darkness was ultimately exposed.

The merchant took a glance at the mirror and saw his own pale face, eyes filled with bloodshot, severely swollen red eyes, disheveled hair, like a female ghost jumping out of a horror movie.

A new day, I was actually startled by my own appearance.

After taking a bath, applying an ice pack to my eyes and changing into new clothes, I finally felt somewhat normal.

If you promise to let yourself go, you must work hard to do it.

She patted her cheeks hard to boost her morale and then opened the door and stepped out.

Downstairs, the restaurant is filled with a rich aroma of food.

The merchant's eyes fell on the elegant figure dining at the table, and his footsteps paused for a moment. His grip on the handrail tightened, and he unconsciously wanted to flee, but reason wouldn't allow it.

Take a deep breath and adjust your breathing, it's over now.

  "Good morning, young uncle."

It was like countless mornings when she greeted and sat down, only that time she still dared to hide an irretrievable fondness deep in her heart...
