By her

  By her

After learning about Yan Mu Yao's injury, Shang Shang couldn't stay in the hospital any longer.

A group of people watched as she was unable to leave the hospital, and after a tumultuous evening, her fever had completely subsided. However, the attending physician again cited the need for further observation as an excuse, requiring her to stay for two more days.

Breathless, a phone call was made to Yan Mu Yao's place.

I had made so many calls before but no one answered, this time it rang for two tones and was quickly picked up.

Nian Mu Yao did not speak up.

In just two seconds, Shang felt tortured.

"Come back to your senses, I'm a bit uneasy... 'Little uncle, I want to be discharged from the hospital.'"

My heart skipped a beat and then accelerated rapidly, with an inexplicable feeling, I was at a loss as to what stance I should take when speaking to him.

  The microphone was still silent.

She almost thought there was something wrong with her phone before Yan Mu Yao finally spoke up, "The call is from the doctor in charge."

In his ear, his tone was flat and emotionless, as if he were talking about something insignificant. Dr. Shen hesitated for a moment, subconsciously handing the phone to the attending physician.

The doctor in charge took over the phone with a very respectful attitude.

He roughly explained Shang's condition and then waited for a response. The ward was too quiet, so much so that even with a distance of one step, Shang clearly heard the impatient tone in the receiver.

  "By her."

The phone was hung up by the time it reached her hand.

The businessman glanced at the blackened phone screen and his eyes felt a little hot.

  ————

Half an hour later, after completing the discharge procedures and coming out of the inpatient building, I stood blankly at the hospital gate, only to find that I had no idea where to go.

Wants to see Yan Mu Yao, but has no idea where he is now.

She wanted to know how serious the injury on his hand was, but she was also afraid that he didn't want to see her again.

She was hesitant, Yan Mu Yao's black Cayenne stopped steadily in front of her, with a second of illusion, thinking that Yan Mu Yao would push the door open and take her home.

Unfortunately, when the car door opened, it was his driver who got out.

"Miss Shang, sir has instructed me to come and pick you up." The middle-aged driver opened the car door and waited respectfully for her to get in.

  Is it Nianmu Yao's faction?

  "What's Little Uncle doing now?"

"The master is over at the mansion, I'll take you there now."

Only after getting on the bus did I feel slightly at ease.

He didn't avoid her because of what happened those days. Although it's hard to get into his heart, for now, just this point is enough to make her feel content for a while.

  ————

It's rush hour after work and the road is severely congested.

The car drove into the grand mansion of the Ye family when it was already pitch black outside.

The night before was sleepless, and soon after getting on the bus, Shangshang fell asleep, but didn't dare to fall into a deep sleep, and would wake up slightly whenever the bus stopped.

Thanked the driver and got off the bus in a hurry.

It's just about time for dinner at home, and as expected, he will see him as soon as he enters the door.

At this point, I inexplicably started to feel tense, my footsteps paused near the door, and I slapped both cheeks hard to refresh myself, took several deep breaths, before finally mustering up the courage to step inside.

Inside, the fragrance of food wafts through the air.

The merchant steeled himself and walked towards the restaurant. Before he even entered, he heard a strange yet pleasant female voice.

"Try this date paste cake, I heard you like to eat it, so I made some myself. See if it suits your taste." After a brief pause, he spoke again, his voice full of expectation, "Is it delicious, Mu Yao?"
