Deep into the night, inside the RV.

  The nighttime temperature was frigid, coupled with relentless winds whipping outside, the RV became freezing cold.

  Chloe shivered, quickly wrapping herself in a thick blanket for warmth. It was her shift to keep watch, and the chill kept her alert.

  Outside, the wind howled. Chloe checked the surroundings, relieved not to spot any monsters.

  Keeping watch was boring, but she could kill time checking the Group Chat App.

  Others on watch in other teams were also killing time in the Group Chat App, chatting, sharing jokes. It was kind of fun.

  Of course, some shared stories of monster attacks.

  That kept everyone on edge.

  Chloe was careful. The RV had an alarm, but it wouldn't go off until the monster already attacked.

  By then, the monster would've broken in through the window.

  So guarding duty was crucial.

  If monsters did attack, Chloe would spot them early and wake Jason.

  That's what Jason assigned them to do.

  Time trickled by...

  Chloe checked the time. She'd been on watch for over an hour. Time to wake the next person.

  Just as she was about to get up, she saw several small figures approaching through the Wasteland.

  In the middle of the night, those couldn't be human.

  Monster attack!

  "It's actually happening..." Chloe muttered. Not worried, but a little excited.

  She was on watch for monster attacks. If nothing happened, she would be upset.

  Now the monsters appeared.

  Chloe confirmed that they were not seeing things, and went to wake Jason.

  "Hubby, monster attack." Chloe shook Jason awake.

  "What kind of monsters?" Jason asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

  Being awakened from the monster attack didn't bother him too much, as he got use to it in his old life.

  He actually got more cautious if the monsters did not attack.

  Chloe thought for a moment. "Goblins, I'm pretty sure... seven or eight of them."

  Jason nodded, summoning his Shadow Doppelganger to deal with the attack.

  Unless they ran into a C-Rank monster, the Shadow Doppelganger will not lose.

  Plus, he'd collected 85 Favor Points from the girls tonight. Adding to his existing 25, he had 110 Favor Points.

  Jason was a little surprised. Tiffany have the most Favor Points with 5 Points, ?Joy with 4, and Lily the least amount of Favor Points with 3 Points.

  Jason can confirmed that they all didn't have other motives, and can feel relieved.

  With so many Favor Points, Jason would naturally upgrade his attributes.

  First, he upgraded Strength and Spirit, using four D-Rank Attribute Orbs on each to go from D-Rank to D+ Rank.

  Then he used two D-Rank Attribute Orbs to upgrade Physique from D- to D.

  A total of 100 Favor Points.

  Now Jason had 10 Favor Points left, but his stats were insane.

  Based on tonight's Favor Points gains, Jason figured he could not only max out Physique before they reached the superheated zone, but also save up 100 Favor Points to get a C-Rank Attribute Orb and break through to C-Rank.

  The Feminism and pursuers were nothing in front of him at that point.

  The Shadow Doppelganger appeared, wielding the two-star short-handled long sword and exited the RV to butcher the attacking monsters.

  Chloe curiously walked to the window.

  She woke up most of the women in the RV with her awakening of Jason.

  Jason quickly reassured ?Joy and the other awakened girls. He told them to just go back to sleep.

  Jason caressed ?Joy, and used his Shadow Doppelganger to fight at the same time. Slowly getting use to multitasking.

  Two or three minutes later, the Shadow Doppelganger returned to the RV.

  If not for some of the goblins running for their lives, he could've taken care of everything within a minute.

  Chloe punched the air excitedly. She'd seen the Shadow Doppelganger's goblin massacre clearly.

  She was safe with Jason's strength.

  She was in tears due to getting hunted by goblins at the start of this Escape World.

  Now the sight of Shadow Doppelganger butchering goblins planted a seed of self-improvement in Chloe.

  The monster attack was over, but that didn't mean it was the only attack tonight.

  So Chloe woke Kira and took off her shift, before diving into the blankets with Jason.

  Chloe's shift was one piece of all of the Women rotation, nothing big to talk about.

  The night passed quickly.

  Dawn approached. The wind outside was even stronger, threatening to overturn the RV.

  Jason and the women were being woken up by the wind outside.

  The Simmons Double Bed's effect was potent. Jason and the women didn't feel sleepy or tired.

  Especially the women. All of their stats were all quite low, especially their Physique.

  The girls feel exhausted every night. Now they looked like they're not.
