The walk towards the main administration building was quite lackluster, to be honest, Elizabeth had expected someone to jump from the shadows and demand her to duel them for some random girl's hand or something.
Or some [I'm too dumb to be alive] guy wanting to steal her Rossie, that would have been fun…in another way. Instead they walked by some students who bowed to Agatha and a few that gossiped about Rena and Rossie walking side by side.
Some people did speak about her, but most just talked about the usual stuff, how she was the most beautiful girl they had ever seen, how they wouldn't mind getting lost in her lips and chest. Both from males and females.
Elizabeth of course didn't mind, it was more of the usual stuff she used to get. She hadn't gotten this much attention before since she rarely spent that much time around, and when she used to, she was being either pestered by Akira or running from point to point. So in a way it was refreshing.
Just as it was refreshing seeing, people cower at Rossie's glare at the other females and Rena's glare at the males.
She of course knew that Rossie didn't even took the males into consideration as competition, that girl wouldn't believe any male existed for anything else but human experimentation and torture…
It was a surprise seeing Rena actively looking at males though, even if it was as meat slabs to be slaughtered. Either way, the fact that both girls did this warmed Elizabeth's heart….And probably gave trauma, scares and or woke up something dark within the other fragile student's minds.
Actually…
"Should we do something about this?" Elizabeth said to Agatha, neither Rossie or Rena were on the mindset to listen to anyone at the moment.
"Not worth the effort, if they can't deal with the [Murder Instincts] of your friends they will not be able to deal with summoning or outer world entities," Agatha said with a shrug.
But…”I think that My Girlfriends are more dangerous than most outer-world entities. I am very sure they can at least cripple those as of now." Elizabeth said, she didn't mind how…Agatha referred to Rossie and Rena, but she felt the need to make it more obvious.
If anything, to remind the people around that she was taken…and so where the other girls also taken.
"Right, anyway. We are almost there, we just need to register you girls and go to my office." Agatha said snapping her fingers and turning off a ward into the main administration building.
Not the ones she had used in first grade, nor the ones she visited in second grade when she woke up after the Advent, but one that seemed more…imposing.
"Sure, do you need our ID? A mana sample?" Elizabeth said summoning their ID's and a couple vials with their Mana already collected (And devoid of anything incriminating, such as the fact that they all were [Humans] and not actual Humans).
"A power grade actually, since we need to adjust the wards. We need to know how much strain you will cause on the building." Agatha said as the doors opened and inside was…. Another goddamned crystal sphere.
"Didn't you take a peek at my status just a few minutes ago?" Elizabeth said as Agatha explained the function of the new crystal.
She had a sort of PTSD towards crystal spheres.
"I know it, how ridiculous your title list is, but besides a quick peek at your level that is all I know. I have no idea how much actual raw power you wield, I assume it should be around C-Mid Tier. Your titles seem to imply you are probably around A- High Tier, but we do need confirmation." Agatha said pointing at the crystal sphere, "So please go ahead, nothing will leak out of the wards here, since they are self contained. The only one who will know what your actual power level is will be the principal of the school, not even the council can view this witouth your explicit approval."
Well, that seemed...fair.
At least Mother didn't leak all her data, so that was something.
"I'll go first," Rena said as she walked towards the crystal sphere, "I assume there will be no problem?"
When Agatha didn't say anything, Rena placed her hand on the crystal and injected some mana into it. It shone crimson red for a second, and a pulse of Mana radiated outwards from it into the building.
Elizabeth took great care in eyeing the mana pulse and trying to decipher it.
"Thank you," Elizabeth sent to Alice for sending the report, and sure enough. It was a copy of Rena's status sheet, perhaps she could share her own Layered safeguard?
It stated very clearly her grade...
Actually...Wouldn't it be weird if Elizabeth was A-Tier, the same as Rena and Rossie? Anyone who looked at them would know that both girls deferred to Elizabeth, and in any relationship, no matter how much love there was, it would be somewhat weird that Elizabeth was at the top, even if she was quite the looker...
Elizabeth would have to trust this new principal with her information...not like Agatha wouldn't spill the beans to the principal since she also seemed to have faith in this person.
Who would even be? She hadn't paid too much attention in her first year (What with being a bimbo and everything), but now that she had returned...Actually, she missed the first-day speech when she arrived in the second grade, too...
And she did the same in the third grade...
Perhaps the principal didn't even know her?
This person ought to know Rena and Rossie though, since both were quite memorable, one more than the other, if this one knew about Rena's previous situation then they would need a new one, since Elizabeth would kill him. No questions asked. The fair was fair.
After waiting a few seconds and seeing that nothing was happening, Elizabeth released a breath of relief.
"See? Normal. The data will be sent to the principal office, and the wards will be updated to know how much force you can tolerate and will exert on them while here; who wants to go next?" Agatha said turning to Rossie and Elizabeth.
It was obvious that she wanted Elizabeth to go next.
"I'll go next if it's all the same to you." Rossie noticed this and walked forward, placing her cute and adorable little hand on the sphere.
She had painted her nails with different themes this morning, the index finger had a star, the middle had a small sword, the ring finger had a small dragon with a ribbon and the other two fingers had hearts.
The crystal sphere irradiated a pink-golden glow as Rossie's mana entangled with the remnants of Rena's mana, and then afterward, the mana pulse extended into the building.
Elizabeth checked it too just for good measure and...
Nothing out of place either; finally, it was Elizabeth's turn.
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
So before Agatha said anything else she walked to the crystal sphere, she wanted to [Identify] it so bad...
"Go on, it doesn't bite." Agatha said at the back, so without anything else, Elizabeth placed her hand on the stupid crystal. It felt cold to the touch, as if no one else had interacted with it, but what was more surprising...
Was that she could feel some remains of Rossie and Rena's mana on the thing, they were fadding away, but she felt as if she could pull them out.
She didn't because checking closer on them, she noticed how these were tied to the wards, perhaps it used these as a signature to compare against the people that was walking around?
If so, pulling them out would make the whole endeavor a moot point.
Instead she focused on feeding some of her mana, and feeling how the thing wanted to take a peek at her. She could feel her own defenses flaring up ready to fight back.
So it was time to decide...Was she going to let her true status shine though? or not?
Her logical mind said that she should, but her more emotional side said that no. She had the layered safeguard for a reason, but even so. She...didn't want to make enemies of the whole school, not yet anyway. If she ended up fighting against the Galaxidae...She needed the school to be aware of what it would mean to fight against her.
And if she restrained herself, then they may just fight her.
"Fine...take a peek, and I hope you are ready to accept the consequences of this," Elizabeth whispered in a low voice as she let the mana probe get a full view of her.
She felt the orb suck in the mana and it started shining first in yellow light, then the colors azure, red, and pink started showing up too. In the end it was closer to a rainbow of color and like that it settled down.
Elizabeth took a second to turn into the ground as her mana faded away to join the wards.
That was easier than expected, no alarms had sounded, no guards had come in rushing.
"Okay girls, this way now." Agatha said moving them to the side, as a door opened behind her. It showed an elevator...That really, was only a disk on the floor with runes engraved on the outer part of the disk.
Had they used a short teleport circle? Or a levitation spell? It was hard to know, but what was sure was that Elizabeth felt the reaction to her status had been lackluster.
She was special dang it!
Okay, maybe she had been hiding who she was way too much. Perhaps she could use this opportunity to gauge what was safe to expose?
If she was going to start fighting the powers-to-be, then they needed to know who she was.
From the beginning, the only reason she had been playing up the [Hide your power] trope was because she didn't want to be exposed to annoying things, but since she would be fighting in the (very) open stage.
Then she needed people to know that she wasn't to be messed with, that had worked for Papa after all, perhaps she could follow the example?
She would need to make sure people understood who was at the top, and for that, she needed to either show enough promise in her might...Or rush through the path of power. Be it towards ascension or immortality.
The first would all but guarantee her might, and the second... Well, they couldn't deal with you if you couldn't get killed; hadn't one of the stories that Mother told her taught that?
There had been this annoying monkey that was really hard to kill? As far as her Mother said. In that world, a monkey learned how to become immortal from a Sage, then as if that wasn't enough. He somehow ended up in the underworld to erase his name from the book that decided who died.
That was two different ways he was immortal, but if that wasn't enough he then went ahead and stole a fruit of immortality, drank a wine of immortality, took pills that granted immortality, elixir that grande immortality and burned away what make him immortal.
Of course, Elizabeth wouldn't go as far. But if she managed to make herself really, really hard to kill, then she would be like the monkey of that tale. She would be too annoying to deal with. And in turn, people would leave her alone.
That or she would get banished from this plane...
Hmm...This would require more thinking, not that she had too many things here, if anything she would only miss her home. And even that she could probably tie to her...
........
*sigh*
"Is something the matter Eli-Eli?" Rossie asked from the side.
"Just coming to terms with some things, I really liked being a bimbo you know." Elizabeth sighed again.
"It's okay Eli, if you want me to, I will always think of you as if you are still one." Rena said from the side.
Elizabeth didn't know if that was sweet or not. But she would not overthink about it and attempt to retain some of her old bimbo magic.
"Here we are, the principal's office, now before you walk in-" Agatha said bringing them back from their own little world.
Quite rude if she was to be honest, but either way. After making sure they were presentable, Elizabeth did a quick scan around and found that the office was warded against. She could probably pierce it if she tried hard enough, but since they were here to make a good impression, she would not.
"Okay, Rossie, Rena. Time to be on our best behavior; I made sure they got the true full status without tampering, so whoever is behind that door has access to all our info." Elizabeth said, interrupting Agatha.
For some reason Agatha didn't said anything else, so Elizabeth continued.
"So, first. Our main objective here is to make sure they see us as valuable people, so depending on their demands I may reveal more of what I can do, what are your opinions?" Elizabeth said turning first to Rossie.
"If that is what you think best, then I don't mind. Should we show the True Shift we have?" Rossie said.
"And will we invite them to the Shadow Haven then?" Rena added.
"Hmm...we will probably need to do either depending on how they answer, the school should have some version of Rossie's True Shift since she used something similar last year." Elizabeth said she did have the recording of Rossie stepping on that bug after all.
It was one of her favorite photos.
"We are ready," Elizabeth said to Agatha and they opened the door.
"...what the hell?" Elizabeth said as she took what was behind the door.
She...didn't expect that.
