Saige is all alone in the demon keep. He walks from room-to-room, but can’t find Gregory, Kelsey or Mai. “Where the hell did they go?”, Saige says to himself. As he walks around he also notices there’s no demon birds around. He’s just alone.

  Meanwhile though, Gregory, Kelsey and Mai are actually alive, but just captured by demon birds, as their bodies are being lifted by the arms, and flown across the ground, and over to Queen Melas’ quarters.

  They then get inside her quarters and it looks like a throne room, as she’s found sitting in the red throne in the back. With a demon bird on each side of her. “Melas.”, says Gregory.

  “Yes, that is my name, but you three shall refer to me as, “Queen Melas”. Hmm what specimens you have brought. These are the ones responsible for the deaths of those guards?”, says Queen Melas. “Yes ma’am.”, says a demon bird holding one of the group. “Hmm, I see. Now I wonder, now that they have been captured, what should we do with them?”, asks Queen Melas. “CaaawW! Perhaps skin them alive!”, says a demon bird holding one of the group. “Boil them and eat them.”, says another demon bird holding one of the group.

  “Interesting offers, but I was thinking of extracting information from them. You will tell us how to get into Strife Village.”, says Queen Melas. “You’ll never get me to spiel.”, says Gregory.

  A demon bird beside her then whispers into Queen Melas’ ear. “You’re saying the buff one and the purple haired one were in here some days ago?”, asks Queen Melas. The demon bird then nods. “And you already had them take the woman to A-... somewhere else, but she somehow returned now?”, asks Queen Melas. The demon bird nods again.

  “Well since she is back and didn’t learn her lesson from the first time she managed to escape, then perhaps we should start torturing her. To show what happens to people who try to scout us out twice. Squeeze her head.”, says Queen Melas. The demon bird holding Mai lowers Mai to the ground by one talon on her arm. Mai goes to reach for her gun, but the demon bird quickly uses its other talon on the back of her head and squeezes. “Aaaahhh!!”, screams Mai. “No! Mai!”, shouts Gregory. “Talk!”, demands Queen Melas.

  Saige then suddenly walks on in and everyone stops what they’re doing. “Huh?”, says Queen Melas with a confused look on her face. “Oh hey, there you guys are.”, says Saige. “Saige!”, shouts Gregory. “White Talon!”, shouts Kelsey. “S-Sai.. ge?”, questions Mai. “So who are you? And why was he missed!?”, asks Queen Melas as she slams a fist on her arm rest. “W-We were getting torn apart by him, so we captured his friends instead. You see, he’s a demon.”, says the flying demon bird holding Gregory.

  “Oh really?”, says Queen Melas. “Nah, I’m not a demon. But I’m still pretty deadly if you’re hurting my friends.”, says Saige. “Well then, let me be your opponent.”, says Queen Melas as she stands up from her throne. “Queen Midas? Alright, I’ll take you on!”, says Saige, as he gets in a boxing pose.

  “That’s, “ ‘Queen’ Melas”!”, shouts Queen Melas. She then flaps out the wings on her back, flies upward and flaps out one wave of wind at Saige. Saige jumps back and the wave of wind leaves a wide gash in the ground. She then sends out another one toward Saige and he ducks it, as it makes a lined gash through the wall. “Whoa. What?”, says Saige. “This’ll be fun.”, says Queen Melas. The demon birds then move out of the way, while still holding onto Gregory, Kelsey and Mai as Queen Melas sends out more waves of wind.

  These waves of wind narrowly miss Saige as he dodges crazily for his life, trying not to get hit. “Alright, looks like I need to use this”, says Saige as he takes out his handgun from his shorts’ pocket. “You think that little p-shooter will affect me?”, says Queen Melas, mockingly. “Don’t know, let’s find out!”, says Saige, right before shooting the gun. He then ends up hitting her wing. Gregory, Kelsey and Mai cheer.

  Melas continues flying in one spot. “Wait! Why are you still flying!? I shot your wing!”, says Saige. Melas just holds her stomach and laughs and the demon birds caw and laugh too.

  “Ah, I am a Demon General you little worm! Like I said, your little p-shooter will do nothing to me!”, shouts Queen Melas. “Ah, forget this thing then!”, shouts Saige as he throws the handgun to the ground. “I’ll take you on with pure hands!”, shouts Saige as he goes into a boxing pose again. Saige does a low-tone growl as he grows horns and a tail, then runs to the side of the room and tries jumping off the wall to get her, but misses. He then runs to the back of the room, on all fours, jumps off the wall again to tackle her, but she dodges easily. Saige then tries this a couple more times, but she dodges easily. Then when he does it again, Queen Melas ends up kneeing him in the gut, then sending him back down to the ground with a wave of wind.

  “Saige!!”, Mai shouts. Saige is on the ground recovering, as he has a thin gash across his chest. “Grrr! Come down here you coward!”, says Saige as his horns burst out little flames on the tip of them. “Wait. Fireball!”, says Saige as he holds his open hand outward from himself. Queen Melas just looks at him in confusion. “Fireball! Fireball!”, says Saige as he keeps trying to summon a fireball, but fails to do so. “Grrr! Just come down here already!”, demands Saige. “I don’t have to listen to you. I am a Queen.”, says Queen Melas. She then sends three waves of wind down, as Saige tries to dodge at the last second and the impact sends him flying into a wall. “Saige!”, shouts Mai. Saige then stands back up. “It’s fine! I’m still fine!”. Saige just looks up toward Queen Melas as she smiles. Saige grits his teeth. “How in the hell am I supposed to take her on?”, says Saige to himself.
