“How am I supposed to take her down?”, says Saige to himself. There's a moment of quietness as no one moves and Saige uses the time to actually think. Queen Melas then sends a wave of wind down at him, “Gah!”, shouts Saige. There’s now another thin gash on his chest and arms.

  Saige then tries to run to the side of the room. “As much as I like to play with my food, this is rather getting tiredsome.”, says Queen Melas. “Tired!? I’ll show you tired!”, says Saige, right before dodging another wave of wind. “And here I thought you would be a challenge for me, little Saige, but looks like you’re all talk.”, says Queen Melas, right before sending out two waves of wind, which Saige dodges, but the impact sends him flying and rolling across the ground, back over to his handgun.

  Saige is on his back as he looks at his handgun, then he widens his eyes. Saige then grabs his handgun. “You’re really going to use that thing again. Well fine then, try it!”, says Queen Melas. Saige then aims over to where Gregory is and shoots at the demon bird holding him. “CAW!”, says the hit demon bird. It then drops Gregory.

  “Now Greg, fire at her!”, says Saige. Gregory shifts his arm into a cannon, as Saige shoots the demon birds holding Kelsey and Mai too. “Yeah, I’m free!”, says Kelsey. “Grr, you imbeciles! No matter, I will just kill you all then.”, says Queen Melas. Gregory starts firing big shots at Queen Melas and one hits her wing and synches it. “Aahh!”, says Queen Melas as she flies backward. “Yeah, just like that! Don’t let up!”, says Saige. Gregory just continues firing and Queen Melas dodges. Kelsey also joins in and uses her charged gun shots to try to hit Queen Melas too, but Queen Melas continues to dodge and even fly higher to escape the firing. She then stops at the ceiling. “This infernal room could be the death of me.”, says Queen Males.

  “Mai and Kelsey shoot the bird henchmen!”, says Saige. The two then aim at the demon birds that are beside Queen Melas’ throne and they fall over from the gun fire. Then Gregory, Kelsey and Mai join together in shooting Queen Melas and they end up making her fall out of the air. “Riiight! I got this one!”, says Saige, as he runs up to her falling position, with claws extended. Melas makes a ring of wind around herself and sends it flying out from herself in all directions and everyone gets thrown back from it, including Saige. “Enough! CAAAAAW!!”, says Queen Melas, as she makes an ultra sonic screech that makes Gregory, Kelsey, Mai and Saige cover their ears. In a few moments, they hear a group of birds flying in from the distance. “Oh no, her screech is calling in the army from outside!”, says Gregory. “Get them! Get them!! Skin them alive!!”, shouts Queen Melas.

  Suddenly, many demon birds fly into the throne room and begin surrounding Gregory, Kelsey, Mai and Saige. Mai then puts her handgun away, and takes her bat off her back and makes it transform into a sword. Gregory shifts his cannon back into a robotic fist. Before the four can make any moves, they get swarmed by the demon birds. Gregory punches some away and slams some into others, Kelsey is just shooting and trying to dodge, Mai is slashing her way through bird wings and necks, and Saige is using his extended claws to slash through bird wings and necks as well.

  Saige then sees Melas through the crowd and tries reaching her, but there’s too much demon birds in the way. “Melas!!”, shouts Saige. He then eventually reaches close to her, but gets swirled around by a sudden tornado that forms around her body and the tornado slams Saige into a wall across the room. “You can try to reach me, but now my tornado wall is up. Sorry.”, says Queen Melas.

  “Saige! You okay!?”, asks Mai. Suddenly, Mai then gets scratched from behind by a talon. “Gah!”, shouts Mai. Talons also manage to scratch Gregory and Kelsey as well, as they yell in pain. “In small numbers they may be weak, but together, at an army mass, they are ones to be reckoned with!!”, shouts Queen Melas.

  Gregory, Kelsey and Mai keep getting torn up by the talons. Saige’s horns then grow more as he notices. “I.. won’t let you have your way with them!”, says Saige. Saige then grows a firey aura around him. And he then charges into the mass of demon birds. As demon birds try to claw at him, they catch on fire. “I.. won’t let you continue hurting them!”, Saige runs over, trying to gradually get through the group of demon birds. “Face it, you have lost here. Now become food to my underlings.”, says Queen Melas. “No, I’m stopping this now, before you have the chance to kill them!”, says Saige as he rushes through the crowd. Saige then gets to her tornado and rips through it with his bare hands. “How did you...!?”, says Queen Melas as Saige grabs her throat. “That’s.. enough!!”, Saige then rips Queen Melas head off from her body.

  The demon birds then stop as they see Queen Melas fall over, headless. And Saige stands there, breathing heavily as his fiery aura disappears and he looks at his hands in confusion. “Queen Melas!!!”, one demon bird says. “CAW! She’s been beheaded!!!”, says another demon bird. The demon birds then scramble around as Saige makes it back to Gregory, Kelsey and Mai. “Saige?”, Mai says as she’s badly wounded and scratched all over. “Yeah, let’s just get out of here before they realize we’re still alive. Can you walk?”, asks Saige. Mai closes her eyes. “Mai?”, says Saige.

  Gregory just grabs Kelsey and Mai and puts them over his shoulders. “I got them, let’s go.”, says Gregory. Saige then nods to him and leads the way out as Gregory follows behind holding Kelsey and Mai. They run and make it to the underground route without the demon birds noticing, due to the demon birds being in a panic. Moments later, they then make it to Old Betty, the junker buggy, and Gregory places Kelsey and Mai in the back seats, as the two seem unconscious.

  “Hop in. Saige you take passenger. Mai and Kelsey seem to be out of it. They’ll have to stay in the back.”, says Gregory. “Wish I could be more excited about this.”, says Saige. Saige looks at Kelsey and Mai with worry. Gregory and Saige then hop in the front seats and the four of them drive off together.
