It’s the afternoon as, Kelsey, Mai and Saige are still around the campfire, which is now burnt out. Mai and Kelsey are gathered near eachother, looking over Kelsey’s gun as Saige is still resting on the ground, with his arms behind his head. “I see, so that’s why it was ineffective.”, says Mai, while holding Kelsey’s gun. “What do you mean?”, says Kelsey. “I mean, the gun when it’s fired normally, it doesn’t do much of an effect. Like when I fired it at those bandits. But when it’s shot is charged, it’s much more effective. Also looks like it gains power from sunlight.”, states Mai. “I see, I see.”, Kelsey says as she nods in agreeance.
“So when are we going to do practise with it?”, asks Kelsey. “Right now. Saige, you coming?”, says Mai as she looks over to Saige. “Nah, I think I’ll lie down for this one.”, says Saige. “Being lazy? Alright.”, says Mai. “Yup!”, says Saige. “Well let’s go Kelsey.”, says Mai. “Okay.”, says Kelsey.
Given some time later, Kelsey and Mai are now in the forest. Mai runs inbetween trees, peaks out from behind a tree and shoots a demon rat nearby. The demon rat feels a shock from the gun, shakes all over, then runs away. “Fortunately, it won’t hurt them.. too much. As long as you don’t charge the shot. You wanna try?”, says Mai.
Mai then hands Kelsey the gun. Kelsey then tries aiming at a squirrel on a branch nearby. Kelsey shoots rapidly, but keeps missing the shot. The squirrel then jumps over to another tree. “You can do it. Just keep trying. Remember the shot won’t hurt the squirrel.”, states Mai. Kelsey charges the shot and shoots a whole branch down. The squirrel then moves and crawls down the tree and stands infront of another one. “I can get this one, says Kelsey. She charges the shot. “Be careful with the charge.”, says Mai.

Kelsey’s charged shot ends up shooting through the tree and the tree begins to collapse over their way. “AH! RUN!”, Mai shouts. They then try out running the tree, and they manage to dodge it in time, by jumping out of it’s falling path. “Well that was something.”, says Mai.
Suddenly, they hear a loud roar and they see a demon-bear show up in the area and then it starts charging them head on. “AAAAHHH!!!”, shouts Kelsey and Mai. They then start to outrun the demon-bear, but it seems to be catching up to them. “Wait, I got this one!”, says Kelsey.
Kelsey goes to charge another shot. “Wait wait wait no!”, Mai tries to warn. Kelsey then turns around, and poses with her legs apart and one hand on the gun. “Stand down to the might of the blue phoenix!”, Kelsey shouts as the demon-bear stands and she fires.
Meanwhile with Saige. Saige yawns, stands up and stretches out his arms abit. “What’s up with all the commotion?”, says Saige as a response to all the noise he heard coming from the woods. He then goes and walks into the woods and sees blasted down trees and a demon-bear on the ground with a hole through it’s stomach. “Hey Saige! Look what I did!”, exclaims Kelsey with pride, as she points at the dead demon-bear. Mai just stands there in surprise.
“Look what you did, indeed.”, says Saige. “Wasn’t that awesome Mai?”, asks Kelsey “Mai?”, Kelsey asks again, but Mai just stands in silence, speechless, before sighing and then starting to talk. “I think that’s enough for today. Let’s just head back to camp.”, says Mai.
